Steve Jobs swag

This minimal outfit was unintentionally inspired by Steve Jobs' famous signature look. The visionary's style was as functional and simplistic as the products he designed. St. Croix took credit for Jobs' signature black turtle neck leading the company to an 100% increase in turtleneck sales over night after the death of the Apple CEO; however, Jobs' turtle neck was in fact designed by Japanese designer Issey Miyake...

I've gone for a modern take on the classic turtle neck; my current favourite designer Alexandre Mattiussi's thick wool oversized version which I have been living in over the colder months is super cosy, and the seasonal oversized cut is perfect.
Job's loved his trusty Levi 501's: a straight leg pair of jeans with slight tapering from the knee down; my go to denim is the similarly cut A.P.C Petite Standard. If Michael Jordan fans are known for buying Jordan brand sneakers and Kanye West fans queue for his Yeezy's; whats wrong with wearing our favourite CEO's signature trainer? Job's rocked both the 992 and 993 New Balance silhouette's, both retro sporty sneaker's featuring beautiful grey suede and mesh panels, and if these were good enough for the creator of the iPhone, then they are certainly good enough for me.
