La Maddalena, Sardinia
Staying in the North East of Sardinia, we caught a boat the short distance across to the La Maddalena islands; famous for its crystal blue waters, it did not disappoint. I think my photos really capture how unbelievable the sea is, let me know what you think of the shots...

What not to wear in Rome
The morning overcast sky clouding over Rome persuaded me to make the mistake of wearing an outfit... that I instantly regretted. Rome in summer is HOT! After that sticky and painfully hot first day in trousers, I only rocked shorts and boosts... However, for reference, going to many of the tourist attractions, it is preferred that you wear trousers for religious reasons!

When in Rome
I recently began my mini Italian
adventure in Rome. I had never been to Rome before, and to be honest it was
nothing like I had expected: neither for better or worse, it simply was just
not how I had imagined. I found it hard to distinguish between different boroughs;
this was due to the whole of Rome being drenched in culture and the beautifully
developed, Greek inspired, architecture that is found everywhere, no matter
what area you’re in. Every building is picturesque. Every public building
looks like a grand museum or embassy, and standard apartment blocks are rustic terrace houses that have stood the test of time, yet by no means look
like they have been restored or refurbished in any way. It was almost like
stepping back in time. This beautifully kept ancient city feels as if it hasn’t
been touched by the ugly that (sometimes) comes with modernity…
