Khaki Season

'Khaki', 'military', or 'olive' green, whichever Pantone you want to go with; This colour is a killer this season!! Featured across many SS'15 contemporary designer collections including: Virgil Alboh's 'Off-White', Jerry Lorenzo's 'Fear of God' and Our Legacy's 'Splash'. Have a little look at what I pair these green shades with and be sure to pick some up just in time for our longed for summer...

I'm rocking a MHL by Margaret Howell Cotton/Linen blend summer t-shirt which is light and perfect for the warmer weather, paired with a Our Legacy Generation Shirt from there in season, 30 piece 'Splash' collection (which is incredible, I've already picked up 4 of my favourite pieces including the matching olive shorts from the collection. What's left in stock from 'Splash' is starting to enter sales now, so don't be surprised if you see me in this anytime soon). The shirt is also a summer ready cotton/linen blend and is labelled a 'Clay Olive' colourway. I have paired this khaki combo with my every day A.P.C Petite Standard jeans, which I'm slowly breaking in nicely and as you can see some contrasted whisker and honeycomb fades are slowly taking shape. As you all know I love bold trainers so to break up the raw denim and khaki combo I've gone with another seasonal colour and cracked out Raf Simons' pink adaptation of the Stan Smith by adidas Originals. The pink and khaki combo is one that simply works very well together in my opinion, the placid pink breaks up the harsh military hues and gently softens it creating a great colour pallet.
